To make the BOCIDASS an international diplomatic laboratory for the diagnosis of international life and questions where emphasis is placed on the development of a people-driven and Nigeria-centric foreign policy as a basis for promoting citizen diplomacy in Africa, in general, and Nigeria, in particular; It is also the ultimate vision of BOCIDASS to make Nigeria the leading epicentre for training in diplomatic practice in Africa, and by so doing, raising the bar of international diplomatic culture, and also laying the foundations for professionalization of international relations.

Our Mission
As a centre for the development of a people-driven and Nigeria-centric foreign policy, citizen diplomacy and training in diplomatic practice, our mission is to promote research and studies on Nigeria in the foreign policy calculations of Member States of the international community, through research, knowledge discovery and management, training, advocacy, surveys and consultancies, particularly in the areas of diplomatic practice, editorial and reporting skills development, and scenarios building as part of mission methodology. In this regard, the BOCIDASS will function as a platform for breeding citizen diplomats, as well as serve as a centre for professional certification in the field of international relations.
